The newcomer in Abarth’s family has undergone multiple tests on the toughest racetracks.

Abarth has unveiled its first electric performance vehicle, the 600e, marking the brand’s entry into the electric hot hatch market. Developed in collaboration with Stellantis Motorsport, the new model features a powerful electric powertrain and advanced performance technologies.

The vehicle comes in two versions: the Abarth 600e Turismo and a limited-edition Scorpionissima, with just 1,949 units produced to commemorate the brand’s founding year. Both models are built on Stellantis’ Perfo eCMP electric platform and offer three distinct driving modes: Turismo, Scorpion Street, and Scorpion Track. Each mode adjusts power output, torque, and maximum speed. The Turismo mode provides the most conservative performance, while Scorpion Track unleashes the full power capabilities, reaching a top speed of 200 km/h.

The top-spec model delivers 280 horsepower and can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 5.85 seconds. The Turismo version offers a slightly lower 240 horsepower with a 0-100 time of approximately 6.24 seconds. Both versions feature a battery range up to 334 kilometers under the WLTP combined cycle.

Abarth collaborated with several performance specialists to develop the vehicle’s components. Michelin developed custom Pilot Sport EV tires designed to provide optimal grip in both dry and wet conditions. Alcon engineered racing-inspired brakes with a four-piston monobloc caliper and 380mm brake discs to enhance stopping power and heat dissipation.

The car includes a JTEKT Torsen mechanical limited-slip differential to improve handling and traction, with a locking effect of 36% during acceleration and 34% during braking. Suspension modifications include increased stiffness and a rear anti-roll bar to enhance overall vehicle dynamics.

Sabelt racing seats with specialized foam and lateral support further emphasize the vehicle’s performance-oriented design. The Scorpionissima edition features additional racing-inspired seat details.

Orders for the new Abarth 600e will open in major European markets, with the vehicle positioned as the brand’s first electric performance model targeting enthusiasts seeking an electrified driving experience.
