orders for the Jeep Avenger 4xe are slated to open by Q4 of 2024

Jeep has unveiled the Avenger 4xe, a new model combining off-road capabilities, all-weather driveability, and style, featuring a Hybrid 48-Volt powertrain with Jeep’s exclusive all-wheel-drive technology paired with a 6-speed dual-clutch transmission.

The Selec Terrain function allows drivers to choose the appropriate mode for various situations. Jeep has also developed a new Multilink rear suspension scheme, providing increased articulation on the rear axle for more comfort on rough roads. The vehicle combines a 136 hp thermal engine with two 21 kW electric motors, moving both axles and ensuring 1900 Nm torque at the rear wheels.

The Avenger 4xe offers speeds up to 194 km/h and acceleration from 0-100 km/h in 9.5 seconds. The model also features dedicated exteriors and interiors with increased functionality and introduces two new trims: Upland and Overland. Orders will open by Q4 2024.

Eric Laforge, Head of Jeep Brand in Enlarged Europe, stated, “Avenger is one of Jeep’s biggest success stories in Europe, with over 90,000 orders, nearly 30% of which are fully electric. Avenger 4xe will set a new benchmark in the B-SUV segment, offering exclusive design and top performance, fully expressing Jeep’s legacy in all-wheel drive.”

The Jeep Avenger 4xe integrates timeless design and functionality with advanced technology, catering to diverse customers, from outdoor enthusiasts to urban dwellers. The powertrain merges a hybrid system with AWD technology, featuring a 1.2-liter turbo engine and dual electric motors. This configuration amplifies performance, achieving 136 hp and up to 194 km/h, with reduced CO2 emissions.

Enhanced off-road capabilities include improved off-road angles, increased ground clearance, and the ability to ford up to 400 mm of water. The Avenger 4xe’s smart all-wheel-drive system ensures 4×4 capability when needed, with torque distribution based on demand. Enhanced off-road angles and water fording capability redefine adventure, making the Avenger 4xe a true embodiment of Jeep’s spirit of exploration.
