The Smart #5 Brabus completes the lineup as the most powerful offering in the range

Smart has revealed its most powerful electric vehicle to date, the #5 Brabus SUV, which it says represents the pinnacle of the brand’s all-electric portfolio and completes the #5 range lineup.

The new model delivers 475 kW of power through an all-wheel drive system and can accelerate from 0 to 62mph in 3.8 seconds using its Launch Mode feature. Built on an 800-volt platform, it supports DC charging of up to 400 kW, allowing its 100-kWh battery to charge from 10% to 80% in 18 minutes under optimal conditions. The vehicle offers a WLTP range of up to 335 miles.

Visually, the #5 Brabus features 21-inch Monoblock Z wheels, red brake calipers, and distinctive Brabus branding throughout. The interior includes microfibre seats with Dinamica accents, heated rear seats, ventilated front seats, and an Alcantara steering wheel with illuminated Brabus lettering.

“The smart #5 Brabus is the new flagship of our still young all-electric product portfolio,” said Dirk Adelmann, CEO of Smart Europe. “This vehicle embodies our vision of electric performance and redefines what customers can expect from an electric SUV.”

The vehicle comes equipped with dual 13-inch OLED displays and a Sennheiser Signature Sound System with 20 high-performance speakers and support for multiple audio formats including Dolby Atmos.

“The world premiere of the smart #5 Brabus is yet another exciting milestone in our partnership with Smart,” said Constantin Buschmann, CEO of Brabus, “Showcasing what is possible when two brands with clear, unique identities and shared values bring together the best of what they have to offer to create something extraordinary.”

The partnership between Smart and Brabus spans more than two decades, beginning in the early 2000s.
