LEPAS, the premium brand from Chery International, will debut its L6 mid-size SUV at Milan Design Week in April 2026. Available as a Super Hybrid with over 700 miles of range and a BEV with 270 miles of range, the L6 is confirmed for the UK market from Q4 2026.
LEPAS, the premium brand from Chinese automaker Chery International, will make its European debut at Milan Design Week (April 20–26), revealing the LEPAS L6 mid-size SUV in both Super Hybrid and battery-electric (BEV) forms. Both variants are confirmed for the UK market from Q4 2026.
The five-seat, C-segment L6 Super Hybrid pairs a 1.5-liter engine with an electric motor and battery pack to deliver a total range of more than 700 miles. The fully electric L6 BEV offers 270 miles of range from a 67 kWh battery, with 30–80% rapid charging in approximately 20 minutes.
Both models are built on Chery International’s new energy vehicle (NEV) modular platform.
“The LEPAS L6 marks an exciting step for our brand in Europe and, of course, the UK market — as we confirm this will be the second model sold,” says Ray Wang, managing director of LEPAS UK. “Combining our proprietary LEPAS Super Hybrid and fully electric powertrains, the LEPAS L6 delivers exceptional efficiency, impressive range, and rapid charging — all tailored for British roads.”
The L6 will be the second LEPAS model sold in the UK, following the larger flagship L8 SUV, which was confirmed for the market earlier this year and is also due in 2026. The L8 will appear alongside the L6 in Super Hybrid form at the Milan event.
LEPAS — a name derived from “leopard” and “passion” — is positioning itself as a premium, design-led brand. Full UK specifications and pricing for the L6 have not yet been announced.
