Zeekr has launched the 9X, its first luxury SUV, in Europe. The Super Hybrid model delivers up to 897 horsepower via a 900V dual-motor powertrain, reaching 240 km/h with up to 737 km range. Features include a 32-speaker Naim sound system, ceiling-mounted OLED cinema screen, and LiDAR-powered driver assistance.
Amsterdam, the Netherlands, July 29, 2026 — Zeekr has launched the 9X, its first model in the luxury SUV segment, marking the Geely-owned brand’s entry into that category in Europe. The vehicle was designed at Zeekr’s studio in Gothenburg, Sweden.
The launch version, the 9X Ultra 6-Seater, is available in Crystal White, Lava Grey and Onyx Black, with a black pack option finished in high-gloss black.
The 9X is Zeekr’s first Super Hybrid model, combining a 900V dual-motor electric powertrain with a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine that acts as a generator to extend range. The powertrain delivers up to 897 horsepower, with the car reaching 0-100 km/h in 4.1 seconds and a top speed of 240 km/h. Zeekr says the extended range reaches up to 737 km, and that DC fast charging can take the battery from 10-80% in 9.5 minutes. Drive modes range from fully electric to off-road settings, supported by dual-chamber adaptive air suspension and dual-valve CDC electromagnetic shock absorbers.
Cabin technology includes reclining seats with massage, ventilation and heating across the first and second rows, plus privacy blinds and active noise cancellation. A 17-inch 3K OLED screen is mounted in the ceiling and can be lowered up to 88 cm toward rear passengers for viewing. Audio is handled by a 32-speaker, 40-channel system from British audio brand Naim, which also includes twin subwoofers and eight tactile shakers, with six selectable sound profiles. Rear passengers get a removable 6.3-inch touchscreen controlling lighting, climate and entertainment functions, and the car includes an onboard refrigerator with a temperature range of -6°C to 50°C for chilling water, wine or champagne.
For the driver, the cockpit includes a 47-inch head-up display, a 13-inch anti-glare dashboard panel and a 16-inch 3.5K OLED dual-screen central display, alongside physical controls for key functions. Driver-assistance features include LiDAR-powered advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), highway navigation assist and remote parking assist.
Boot capacity is 677 liters, expanding to 2,148 liters with the seats folded, and the 9X has a towing capacity of 2,000 kg. Interior materials include Nordic wood trim, hand-polished for up to 20 hours per piece, Nappa leather upholstery and a crystal rotary controller on the center console. Exterior styling includes a waterfall grille available in black, body color or satin chrome finishes, Diamond Starlight Matrix headlamps and a rear light bar.
According to Lothar Schupet, chief executive at Zeekr Europe, the 9X is designed specifically for European roads and customers.
“The new Zeekr 9X is our response to the next-generation of luxury consumers,” Schupet says. “More than ever, luxury customers want more from their car, and the Zeekr 9X is a direct answer to this demand, designed in Europe for European roads.”
The 9X is Zeekr’s fifth model launched in Europe in three years. The company, part of China’s Geely Auto Group, has delivered more than 800,000 vehicles globally since it began deliveries in October 2021, and Zeekr Europe currently operates in 16 European markets.
Combined energy consumption is rated at 28.5 kWh/100 km, with combined CO2 emissions of 77.0 g/km and combined fuel consumption of 8.9 l/100 km. Zeekr describes these figures as preliminary, pending final validation and homologation.
