Himanshu Patel, CMD of Triton EV with the EV hydrogen engine.

Triton EV, a leading innovator in clean-tech automotive solutions, has launched a revolutionary hydrogen internal combustion engine developed in India. This cutting-edge technology offers a zero-carbon emission alternative to traditional gasoline engines, producing only water vapor as a byproduct of combustion, eliminating harmful pollutants such as carbon monoxide, hydrocarbons, and nitrogen oxides.

The engine’s power output is reported to match or exceed that of conventional internal combustion engines, ensuring robust performance under various driving conditions. Engineered with advanced materials and design techniques, the engine also promises enhanced durability and reliability, potentially reducing maintenance needs and extending its lifespan.

“Designed to deliver high performance, Triton EV’s hydrogen internal combustion engine offers superior efficiency without compromising on power,” says Himanshu Patel, CMD of Triton EV. “The engine boasts an advanced combustion process optimized for hydrogen, which ensures complete fuel utilization and minimizes energy losses.”

One of the key advantages of Triton EV’s hydrogen engine is its versatility. It can be integrated into a wide range of vehicle categories, from compact cars to large commercial trucks, making sustainable transportation accessible to a broader market.

The company is actively seeking partnerships to accelerate the adoption of this technology. “The application of this hydrogen engine is extremely versatile as it not only controls the carbon footprint but also makes trucks more affordable,” says Patel. “We are open to collaborating with other commercial and non-commercial vehicle brands for supplying our hydrogen engine.”

The launch of this hydrogen engine marks a significant step towards a greener automotive future. As the industry continues to seek sustainable alternatives, Triton EV’s innovation could play a crucial role in reducing the environmental impact of transportation while maintaining high performance standards.
