Chinese automotive brand OMODA has revealed the OMODA X, a concept SUV, at the OMODA&JAECOO International User Summit in China. The reveal took place on October 20, 2026. OMODA has not disclosed the concept’s powertrain and says its specifications are subject to change. UK availability has not been confirmed.
The concept has a ground clearance of 200mm (7.9in), a roof load capacity of 75kg (165 lb) and 39 storage spaces. OMODA says the towing capacity is intended to reach 1,800kg (3,968 lb).
Driver assistance features include an infrared thermal imaging night vision system. OMODA says it can identify potential hazards up to 90m (295ft) ahead. The cabin also has a microphone system with four independent sound pickup zones, which lets passengers use in-car karaoke without handheld microphones.
The interior is part of OMODA’s Super Intelligent Space system. It includes a voice assistant designed to understand natural, conversational speech rather than fixed commands. A personalized X-MODE drive setting lets the driver adjust vehicle settings and responses to their own preferences.
A twin-wing dashboard and an X-shaped floating center console frame a 10.25in digital instrument cluster and a 13.2in central touchscreen. OMODA has kept physical controls for frequently used functions, including the air conditioning and drive modes.
The exterior develops the angular “Cyber Mecha” design language introduced on the OMODA 4. That model made its European debut at the Paris Motor Show earlier this month and goes on sale in the UK in 2027. On the OMODA X, the design is applied to a wider body with broad shoulders and a sculpted waistline.
The concept’s lightning-style tail lights follow the lighting design of the OMODA 7 and the forthcoming OMODA 4. The arrowhead-shaped daytime running lights reflect the arrow-shaped rear lights of the OMODA 5. The concept was shown in silver and in green, each with a contrasting black roof.
