The 2026 MINI Countryman E delivers 501km electric range through silicon carbide inverter technology, a 65.2kWh battery, and friction-reduced wheel bearings. The Countryman SE All4 offers 467km range. Both support 10-80% DC fast charging in under 30 minutes.
The updated all-electric Mini Countryman models will launch in March 2026 with a range of up to 501km (WLTP) for the Countryman E variant, achieved through a new silicon carbide (SiC) inverter and increased battery capacity.
Munich-based Mini, part of the BMW Group, says the SiC inverter enables highly efficient energy conversion while minimizing power losses. The powertrain improvements are paired with an increased net capacity high-voltage battery of 65.2kWh, providing more usable energy than the current model.
Additional efficiency gains come from friction-reduced wheel bearings on the front axle, which lower rolling resistance. The all-wheel-drive Countryman SE All4 variant will offer a range of up to 467km (WLTP).
Both models support DC fast charging, enabling a 10-80% charge in under 30 minutes.
The updated Countryman features aerodynamic optimizations that contribute to a drag coefficient of 0.26. An exclusive Favoured Trim option will be available, featuring Blazing Blue body color, silver roof and mirror caps, and 20-inch alloy wheels with a Windmill Spoke design.
Inside, a 24cm OLED display serves as the central interface for infotainment and driver assistance systems. The vehicle supports autonomous driving functions up to Level 2.
The Countryman retains its practical dimensions, with variable trunk volume of up to 1,450 liters.
The MINI Countryman E and Countryman SE All4 will arrive in showrooms in March 2026.
