With its newly launched Paradigm Factory, the company aims to set new standards for ECVs.

Xing Mobility, the battery immersion cooling company, has unveiled its latest product, the Immersio XM28, at IAA Transportation 2024. This launch follows the inauguration of the world’s first paradigm factory for volume production of immersion cooling batteries, marking a significant step in Xing Mobility’s global expansion strategy.

The Immersio XM28 represents a major advancement in commercial electric vehicle technology, offering twice the energy density of conventional LFP batteries. By utilizing advanced ternary lithium chemistry and optimizing space, the new system doubles vehicle range and extends battery lifespan, promising substantial cost savings for fleet operators.

“As a global pioneer of immersion cooling battery technologies, Xing Mobility has leveraged its high-spec R&D experience from developing electric supercars to continually advance the Immersio XM series,” said Royce YC Hong, Co-founder & Chairman of XING Mobility. “By addressing the thermal management and range issues faced by commercial electric vehicles, we have positioned ourselves as a trusted partner for the industry.”

The Immersio system features active thermal runaway suppression, capable of cooling battery cells from thousands of degrees to below 100°C within 30 seconds. This technology prevents thermal propagation and ensures uniform temperature across high-voltage batteries, modules, and systems.

Xing Mobility’s batteries have already proven their worth in real-world applications, including Nordic Booster’s Hummingbird fast charging station and a partnership with Cruise X to develop a 4.5-ton electric truck with a 200 km range. And the newly established Xing Paradigm Factory in Taiwan serves as a model for future overseas expansion, facilitating rapid replication of production lines and technology transfer.
